Up and coming ANYTHING [bands, artists, directors, etc.] work 654281954689032845% harder than those who have already “made it”
Ha ha ha! Yup!
It’s probably the best part about ‘making it’. Kinda like your boss walking in and saying, ‘Good job on that report today Johnson. Feel free to relax and do subpar work until you fade from the public eye’.
Actually…that’s kinda how most of my jobs go.
